Build and Kill Zombies hides a one-time (and sometimes repeatable event) group chest behind two social actions: like the experience and join the Zombie Car Crusher group. Those steps are the closest thing the game has to a guaranteed starter stipend besides Community Codes. The lobby already shows a gold FREE CHEST on the grass near Car Builder; the group reward is a separate claim that fan guides walk through because new players walk past both.

Do this before you spend Robux on a 50K pack. The chest plus a live code is enough to bolt a plow onto the starter kart and survive the first checkered-line Drive.

What you must click

1. Open the official Roblox page.
2. Press Favorite if you want it in your list, then press Like (thumbs up). The like is the one the chest script checks.
3. Open the creator group Zombie Car Crusher (community ID 171280950) and press Join. The group is public and had tens of thousands of members within weeks of launch.
4. Rejoin the experience so the server sees the new membership.
5. Look for the group/chest prompt on the left HUD or the claim stand near FREE CHEST and Car Parts. Claim it once. If the button stays locked, hop servers.

The like and the join are both required. Doing only one of them is the usual failure case in comment sections.

FREE CHEST versus group chest

The lobby screenshot language is easy to mix up:

• FREE CHEST is a gold crate sitting on the grass in front of the Car Builder stall. Walk into it or press the prompt. It is a world pickup.
• Group chest is the like-and-join reward. It is not the same crate even if both dump cash.
• Car Parts and Support stands are shops, not chests.
• Exclusive Shop Community Codes are typed strings, not physical crates.

Clear all four on a fresh account. Then open Saves so a crash does not eat the wallet.

Why the group exists

Zombie Car Crusher is the official developer community for this place. The owner display name is kaz (KazaruGaming). Shouts from that group are the same channel that feeds how to redeem. Joining is free. Leaving and rejoining to try to reroll the chest is a good way to lose the reward and a bad way to farm; the grant is account-bound.

During Admin Abuse and Hacker Event weeks the group sometimes layers an extra crate on top of the standard like-join grant. Watch updates and the Hacker Event page so you do not claim early and miss the event crate.

After you claim

Spend the dump on a front-facing plow and extra wheels before Skills cosmetics. The car build guide and builds tier show starter layouts that survive a short Distance run. If the chest gave a roll ticket instead of raw cash, use it on Car Parts rather than Supports until the kart can finish a Drive without snapping.

Co-op does not share the chest. Each of the five players in a server claims on their own account. Do not stand in someone else’s Car Builder stall while they claim — Build mode (B) and claim prompts fight for the same button on mobile.

If the chest never appears

• Confirm the group name is Zombie Car Crusher, not a fan Discord mirror.
• Disable airplane mode / VPN hops that make Roblox think you are a new guest.
• Rejoin once. If it still fails, wait a few minutes; group membership can lag.

Once it pays, you are done with the social checklist. The rest of your economy is Drive time, cash farming, and whatever codes the next shout posts.
